Podcast Episode 31: Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist Kay Stewart
In this episode, I speak with certified, professional canine nutritionist Kay Stewart about the importance of canine nutrition. We should feed our dogs to thrive, not just survive. We discuss the importance of healthy food and the limits of veterinary knowledge around nutrition. In addition, we review health improvements from raw feeding and how food can help lower veterinary costs. Further, we discuss increased dog longevity through raw feeding and its economics. We also touch on the nutritional balance of dog food and the carb/sugar content of dog kibble. Finally, we speak about how to include your vet in a raw transition and other topics.
